The Point Loma Pointers prevailed the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Pointers now have a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cathedral Catholic for a City - Western test on Tuesday, October 11. Point Loma will confront a Dons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Dons record now stands at 30-0.

The Falcons (6-20) will now prepare for their test against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Patriots enter the City - Western test with a 6-18 record. In their last test, Patrick Henry gained a win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
