In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Richland Bombers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southridge Suns.

The Bombers (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hermiston (Hermiston, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Hermiston lost by Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Suns clash with the Kennewick Lions (Kennewick, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia battle, on Saturday, October 8. Southridge will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Hanford (Richland, WA).
