The Webster County Highlanders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Richwood Lumberjacks to 0 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Highlanders now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clay County for a Little Kanawha game on Thursday, October 13. Webster County will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 11-10.
The Lumberjacks (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Meadow Bridge defeated Midland Trail (Hico, WV), 3-0, in a non-league game.
