The Dons (21-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Spartans come into the Channel battle with a 5-20 record. In their last battle, Rio Mesa went down by Oxnard (Oxnard, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Thacher Toads (Ojai, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 8. Ventura will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Toads come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA).
