The South Eugene Axe volleyball team (Eugene, OR), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR)
The Irish (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 20-0 record. In their last challenge, Jesuit defeated Aloha (Beaverton, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Axe encounter the South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. South Eugene will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record.
