In Thursday's league contest, the University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 8. University will attempt to better on its 17-9 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 13-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA).

With the loss, Westchester drops to 0-11 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Unicorns in a Western contest on Tuesday, October 11. The Unicorns come into the contest with a record of 7-9. Los Angeles CES won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA)
