Texas High School Football - Juarez-Lincoln crushed by McAllen

October 6, 2023: La Joya, TX 78560

In Friday's league game, the McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) football team smashed the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), by a score of 62-13.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats come into the 5A-1 Region IV District 15 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Vela overwhelmed Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX), 73-14, in a league game.

The Huskies now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to McAllen Memorial for a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 game on Thursday, October 12. Juarez-Lincoln will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 35-7 league win over Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
