The Marquette Redmen football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting Petoskey Northmen to 20 in the Redmen league victory on Friday.
The Redmen now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cadillac for a Big North battle on Saturday, October 14. Marquette will play a Vikings squad coming off a 28-7 non-league win over Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
Coming up next, the Northmen play the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) in a Big North battle, on Friday, October 13. Petoskey will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 21-6 league win over Alpena (Alpena, MI).
