The Osceola Chieftains football team (Osceola, WI), was ripped 48-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rice Lake Warriors (Rice Lake, WI)

The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Prescott (Prescott, WI). The Cardinals come into the Middle Border challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Prescott was ripped by Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI), 40-34, in a league challenge.

The Chieftains now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerset for a Middle Border bout on Friday, October 13. Osceola will face a Spartans squad coming off a 34-18 league loss to Amery (Amery, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.
