Virginia High School Volleyball - Colonial Beach can't hold off Westmoreland

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Westmoreland Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Colonial Beach Drifters.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Lancaster nudged Northumberland (Heathsville, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Drifters encounter the Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Colonial Beach will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 8-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Essex (Tappahannock, VA).
