The Hornell Red Raiders held off the visiting Livonia Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.
The Red Raiders now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayland-Cohocton for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 10. Hornell will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Haverling (Bath, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Dansville (Dansville, NY). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Dansville was nudged by Hornell (Hornell, NY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
