The Pioneer Mustangs volleyball team (San Jose, CA), went down 2-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA)

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, South San Francisco defeated Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, October 11. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA).
