In Friday's league battle, the host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Canisius Crusaders.
The Marauders (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nichols (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings come into the Msgr Martin battle with a 7-3 record.
The Crusaders (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, NY). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, McQuaid Jesuit nudged St. Francis (Hamburg, NY), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
