Nebraska High School Softball - Aquinas gets by Guardian Angels Central Catholic

The Aquinas Monarchs nipped the visiting Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays softball squad by a final score of 10-9 in Friday's league battle.

The Monarchs (22-6) will now prepare for their battle against Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Bluejays go into the C District 4 battle with a 16-10 record. In their last battle, Guardian Angels Central Catholic held off Wayne (Wayne, NE), 11-6, in a non-league battle.

The Bluejays now possess a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aquinas for a C District test on Friday, October 6. Guardian Angels Central Catholic will encounter a Monarchs team coming off a 12-7 league win over Wayne (Wayne, NE). The Monarchs record now stands at 20-6.
