The Notre Dame de Sion Storm (Kansas City, MO) softball nipped the host Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Lee's Summit, MO), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Storm (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Holden (Holden, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 23-6 record. In their last bout, Holden held off Carrollton (Carrollton, MO), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
