The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greeley West for a non-league match on Friday, September 15. Wellington will face a Spartans squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Silver Creek (Longmont, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Platte Valley falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Broncos host Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO) to face the Cougars in a 3A/4A Patriot match on Saturday, September 16. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-7.
