The Anna Coyotes volleyball team (Anna, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX)

The Panthers (16-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Celina (Celina, TX). The Bobcats come into the 4A Region II District 11 challenge with a 24-7 record. In their last challenge, Celina defeated Panther Creek (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes encounter the Ranchview Wolves (Irving, TX) in a 4A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Anna will attempt to move on its 21-17 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 13-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX).
