The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) and the visiting South Colonels (Worcester, MA), saw Burncoat's volleyball squad nip South by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Burncoat upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Abby Kelley Foster (Worcester, MA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Abby Kelley Foster lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA)

The Colonels now own a 7-3 record.
