In Friday's league battle, the host Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints.

The Bluejays (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN). The Blackjacks come into the Camden battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Dawson-Boyd lost by Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Fighting Saints clash with the Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Cleveland, MN).
