In Friday's league battle, the visiting Lowell Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lincoln Mustangs.

The Cardinals (17-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wallenberg (San Francisco, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Academic Athletic Association battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Wallenberg went down by Galileo (San Francisco, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 25-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA).
