In Friday's league battle, the visiting Rockwell Christian School Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Matthews Christian Academy Colts.

The Chargers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC). The Ram come into the NCCSA A District 2 - West Region battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Tabernacle Christian defeated Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Colts clash with the Abundant Life Christian Academy KNIGHTS (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 16. Matthews Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The KNIGHTS come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC).
