The Yellowjackets (8-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Kopperl (Kopperl, TX). The Eagles come into the 1A Region III District 18 challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Kopperl was edged by Covington (Covington, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Blum Bobcats (Blum, TX) in a 1A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Morgan will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 29-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Covington (Covington, TX).
