In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Montclair Mounties volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Payne Tech Lions.
The Mounties now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Secaucus for a non-league test on Monday, October 9.
The Lions (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Glen Ridge gained a win over West Side (Newark, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
