Texas High School Volleyball - Tarkington tips New Waverly

In Friday's league contest, the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) volleyball squad nudged the visiting New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Longhorns face the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Tarkington will attempt to better on its 23-14 season record. The Fighting Owls go into the contest with a 27-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX).

With the loss, New Waverly moves to 10-12 on the year. The Bulldogs host Crockett (Crockett, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 3-17. Crockett lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Onalaska (Onalaska, TX)
