The Torrington Trailblazers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Newcastle Dogies to 0 in the Trailblazers league victory on Friday.

The Trailblazers now possess a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo for a 3A Northeast game on Saturday, October 7. Torrington will meet a Bison team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Worland (Worland, WY). The Bison record now stands at 18-3.

The Dogies (6-19) will now prepare for their game against Wheatland (Wheatland, WY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 16-8 record. In their last game, Wheatland was dropped by Gering (Gering, NE), 3-1, in a non-league game.
