The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 25-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX).

With the loss, Odessa drops to 15-10 on the campaign. The Bronchos host Midland Legacy (Midland, TX) to battle the Rebels in a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 23-14. Midland Legacy lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX)
