The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate (Henderson, NV) and the host Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV), saw Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's volleyball squad nip Western by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon upgrades its record to 8-12 on the year. The Pirate travel to Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Bonanza lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV)

The Warriors now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Legacy for a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. Western will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Durango (Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns record now stands at 17-7.
