In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Travelers Rest Devildogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southside Tigers.
The Devildogs (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Greer, SC). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 15-9 record. In their last challenge, Riverside beat Eastside (Taylors, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 13. Southside will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Rebels go into the game with a 9-19 record after their 3-1 league loss to Eastside (Taylors, SC).
