The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Indio Rajahs (Indio, CA) and the host Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA), witnessed Indio's flag football squad edge Palm Desert by a tally of 13-7.

The Rajahs (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Indians go into the Desert Empire bout with a 4-13 record. In their last bout, Palm Springs was tipped by Shadow Hills (Indio, CA), 40-0, in a league bout.

The Aztecs now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Valley View for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 8.
