The Palma Chieftains flag football squad scored 39 points and limited the visiting Watsonville Wildcatz to 13 in the Chieftains league triumph on Monday.

The Chieftains now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aptos for a non-league game on Saturday, October 11. Palma will face a Mariners team coming off a 14-6 league win over Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 7-4.

The Wildcatz (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Cowboys enter the game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Salinas fell by St. Francis (Watsonville, CA), 20-19, in a league game.
