The San Pedro Pirates walloped the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears flag football team by a score of 49-0 in Monday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) in a Marine challenge, on Monday, October 6. San Pedro will attempt to improve on its 17-3 season record. The Pilots enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 28-7 league win over King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA).
The Polar Bears (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, King/Drew was ripped by Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA), 20-6, in a non-league challenge.
