In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Annandale Atoms volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Edison Eagles.

The Atoms (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Justice was edged by Lewis (Springfield, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology for a test on Thursday, October 9. Edison will face a Colonials squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 8-1.
