California High School Volleyball - Desert Hot Springs edged by Banning

Banning Broncos (Banning, CA) boosters left the game pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles (Desert Hot Springs, CA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Broncos (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA). The RAMS come into the challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Desert Mirage was nudged by Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA) in a test, on Thursday, October 9. Desert Hot Springs will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA).
