Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodcreek gained a win over Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a test on Wednesday, October 8. Vista del Lago will face a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-7.
