The Cardinals (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central Academy of Technology & Arts (Monroe, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Central Academy of Technology & Arts prevailed over Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A outing, on Wednesday, October 8. Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 4-11 record after their 2-1 league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
