Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) and the host Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), saw Roosevelt's soccer squad triumph over Anderson by a count of 9-1.

The Bears (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Railsplitters enter the Downriver match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Lincoln Park toppled Carlson (Gibraltar, MI), 2-1, in a league match.

The Titans now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodhaven for a non-league match on Wednesday, October 8. Anderson will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-3 non-league Richard (Riverview, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 7-11.
