The Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) soccer the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 3-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Colts now hold a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumberton for a Tri-County 6A/7A contest on Wednesday, October 8. Cape Fear will battle a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 7-6.
The Fighting Scots (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears enter the Tri-County 6A/7A contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Gray's Creek Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 3-3, in a league contest.
