In Monday's league outing, the host Center Line Panthers soccer squad scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Fitzgerald Spartans.

The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Norsemen go into the non-league outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Grosse Pointe North was overwhelmed by L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI), 1-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Spartans confront the St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI) in a Macomb Area - Silver test, on Tuesday, October 7. Fitzgerald will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Saints come into the test with a 11-3 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI).
