The Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC), 3-2 in Monday's league challenge.

The Wolves now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eno River Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 8. Woods Charter will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Chatham Charter moves to 2-9 on the year. The Knights travel to Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC) to encounter the Aviators in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Wednesday, October 8. The Aviators go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Ascend Leadership lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)
