The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots enter the East Central 3A/4A contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Pender held off South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 2-1, in a league contest.
