In Monday's league outing, the host NCSSM: Durham Unicorns soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the East Wake Academy Eagles.
The Unicorns (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Phoenix go into the Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A outing with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Raleigh Charter by Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC), 3-0, in a league bout.
With the loss, East Wake Academy moves to 6-8 on the year. The Eagles host Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC) to play the Tigers in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Triangle Math & Science lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC)
