East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) backers went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC), 2-1 in a league outing.

The Warriors (3-13) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies go into the Northern Six 6A/7A outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Heritage got by Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 1-0, in a league game.

The Knights (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Red Rams come into the Northern Six 6A/7A game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Franklinton edged Vance County (Henderson, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
