Equipo Academy Yeti (Las Vegas, NV) fans were in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV), 3-2 in a league bout.

The Yeti now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virgin Valley for a 3A Southern - Southern game on Wednesday, October 8. Equipo Academy will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, The Meadows School moves to 5-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cristo Rey St. Viator (North Las Vegas, NV) to play the Royals in a 3A Southern - Southern bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Cristo Rey St. Viator lost 5-0 in their recent league bout against Moapa Valley (Overton, NV)
