With the triumph, Kearny improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Kardinals travel to The Pilgrim Academy (Egg Harbor City, NJ) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 8-3. The Pilgrim Academy won 3-1 in their recent league test against King's Christian (Cherry Hill, NJ)

The Bruins now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bayonne for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 8. North Bergen will play a Bees squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Becton (East Rutherford, NJ). The Bees record now stands at 1-7.
