The Waynesboro Indians soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Mifflin County Huskies to 2 in the Indians league victory on Monday.
The Indians now hold a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Perry for a Mid-Penn - Colonial game on Wednesday, October 8. Waynesboro will face a Mustangs team coming off a 1-0 league win over Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.
The Huskies (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA). The Warriors enter the Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Gettysburg nudged Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA), 1-0, in a league challenge.
