The North Surry Greyhounds held off the host West Stokes Wildcats soccer team by a tally of 4-3 in Monday's league game.
Next, the Greyhounds face the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) in a Northwest 3A/4A game, on Wednesday, October 8. North Surry will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC).
With the loss, West Stokes moves to 5-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a Northwest 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Surry Central won 8-0 in their recent league bout against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC)
