In Monday's league test, the Wheat Ridge Farmers (Wheat Ridge, CO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO), by a margin of 9-0.
The Farmers now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pomona for a 4A Jeffco outing on Friday, October 10. Wheat Ridge will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Golden (Golden, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-17.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Conifer Lobos (Conifer, CO) in a 4A Jeffco contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Dakota Ridge will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Lobos enter the contest with a 1-13 record after their 10-2 league loss to Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO).
