In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix.

The Aztec Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Ambassador (Torrance, CA). The Lions go into the Mulholland test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Ambassador achieved victory over Summit View West (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Rising Phoenix now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pacific Lutheran for a Mulholland test on Tuesday, October 7.
