In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Arleta Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Monroe Vikings.

The Mustangs (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons go into the East Valley test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Verdugo Hills was defeated by Chavez (San Fernando, CA), 3-2, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poly for a East Valley test on Friday, October 10. Monroe will meet a Parrots team coming off a 3-2 league loss to North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 7-14.
