Alabama High School Volleyball - Wilson tips Central

October 6, 2025: Florence, AL 35633

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) and the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), saw Wilson's volleyball squad nudge Central by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Wilson improves its record to 30-11 on the season. The Warriors host Hatton (Town Creek, AL) to encounter the Hornets in a 4A Area 14 battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 7-24. Hatton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against West Morgan (Trinity, AL)

The Wildcats now own a 36-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deshler for a 4A Area 14 contest on Tuesday, October 7. Central will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 33-9.
